About Konkat

We link what’s scattered.

Konkat is a founder-led company in Hyderabad. We find solutions to real problems as they happen and turn them into plans that can be executed, through advisory work and software.

The name

From concatenation.

con·cat·e·nate  /kənˈkat(ə)ˌneɪt/  verb: to link things together in a chain or series.

Concatenation means joining separate parts end to end until they become one continuous whole. Programmers use the word for joining strings of text. We use it as a description of the job.

Most of the problems we are asked about are not missing pieces. The people, the information and the money are usually there. They just sit in different places, owned by different people, and nobody has joined them up. Konkat is the work of joining them.

How we think

We link what’s scattered, solve what’s stuck, and turn it into a plan people can run.

01

Everything is a node

People, decisions, materials, data and money are all points in one system. Seeing them that way is the first step to arranging them well.

When we look at a stuck project, we start by listing the nodes: who is involved, what each of them decides, what they need from each other and where the information lives. Most of the time the pieces needed to solve the problem already exist. They just aren’t on the same map.

02

Value lives in the links

A team, plan or tool is only as good as how its parts talk to each other. We put our effort into the connections.

Delays, rework and overruns tend to happen at the handoffs: between site and office, consultant and contractor, plan and budget. So that is where we spend our time. The handoffs, the interfaces and the shared record that everyone reads from.

03

Structure should feel light

A process only helps if people follow it. We formalise how work happens without making it heavier to do.

We write down how work already happens, in the words your team already uses, and remove steps rather than add them. If a site supervisor needs a training course to record the day’s progress, the structure is too heavy.

04

Practical over clever

An idea is finished when someone uses it every day. Every outcome we aim for is intuitive, understandable and in use.

We would rather hand over a plain plan that gets updated every week than an elegant model that nobody opens. Success is measured by use, not by how impressive the document looks on the day it is delivered.

How Konkat works

Four steps, every time.

Whether the problem ends in a forecast, a business plan, a coordinated project or a piece of software, the work follows the same path.

  1. 01

    Find the pieces

We listen first, then gather what already exists: documents, data, schedules, the people involved and the decisions they own. We map where each piece lives today.

  2. 02

    Connect them

We put the pieces on one frame and look at the links: who depends on whom, what contradicts what, and where the gaps and duplicates are.

  3. 03

    Turn it into a plan

We sequence the work, assign owners and set decision points, in a form the people doing the work can read and keep up to date.

  4. 04

    Stay until it runs

We work alongside your team through the first cycles, adjust what doesn’t fit, and step back once the plan runs without us.

Founder-led

You talk to the founder. Directly.

Konkat is founder-led, by design. Every enquiry, whether it is about Lattice, a piece of advisory work or a partnership, goes straight to the founder. There is no sales desk in between and no form that disappears into a queue.

That keeps the first conversation honest. The person who hears about your problem is the person accountable for what we propose, and for whether it works.
